Lowestoft Museum is housed within Broad House, which is a Grade II listed building dating from 1685
The museum’s exhibits tell the story of Lowestoft’s development and the museum’s varied collection includes 18th-century Lowestoft Porcelain, locally found fossils, and local archaeological displays from Roman and Anglo-Saxon sites.
Staffed entirely by volunteers, the museum is open from April to October; check opening times and plan your visit ahead.
