Carlton and Oulton Marshes

Managed by the Suffolk Wildlife Trust, the Carlton and Oulton Marshes are one of the most wildlife-rich parts of the county

Visitors have the opportunity to can see exotic marsh plants, a rich variety of wildfowl and several types of birds of prey, including barn owls and marsh harriers.

This beautiful wildlife oasis is free to visit, has several trails including a Riverside Trail and Dragonfly Loop, and has a lovely picnic area. Well-behaved dogs on lead are welcome.
