Things to do in Buckenham

RSPB Buckenham Marshes reserve

RSPB Buckenham Marshes reserve is a favourite spot for birds and bird-watchers alike

It is a great place to look out for birds of prey including barn owls, marsh harriers, kestrels and peregrine falcons. You might also see other wildlife such as hares, stoats and Chinese water deer in the surrounding fields.

There are no toilets or visitor facilities at Buckenham Marshes, but there is one viewing hide near the river. Visitor facilities and toilets are available at RSPB Strumpshaw Fen reserve, which is approximately 15 minutes walk from Buckenham.

A small number of weekend trains stop at Buckenham railway station which is a request stop and located adjacent to Buckenham Marshes.
