Date: Sunday 21 January 2018
Distance: About 7 miles
Walk leader: Mike Bugden
Start time: Catch the 10.58 train from Norwich to Haddiscoe
Details: A Wherry Lines walk through the Village of St Olaves and the Waveney Forest, returning via Fritton church and village
This guided walk is free to train ticket holders. Please remember to wear suitable shoes or boots and bring a packed lunch and drink with you, as not all walks pass a pub or café.
The train time provided is for travellers from Norwich; please check train times if you are coming from elsewhere. We aim to arrive back in Norwich by 17.00 at the latest.
When you buy your rail ticket, please bear in mind that not all walks start and finish at the same station.
Dogs are welcome and there is no charge for them on the train. Please keep your dog on a lead at all times as walks sometimes pass through fields with livestock and nature reserves.
The guided railway walks are led by Mike Bugden, Eileen Oliver and Trevor Garrod. Between them, they have been guiding walks for more than a decade. New walk leaders and route suggestions are always welcome.Download the 2018 Guided Railway Walks leaflet
